Rube & Rutje look so simple and beautiful, just like sweet children’s drawings. Rube’s & Rutje’s world is a soft, warm world, full of liveliness and fun, in which people still care about each other. They are a true breath of fresh air in this hectic life. Rube and Rutje are 2 cheerful friends. Together they have fantastic adventures, they go exploring together and they are both animal lovers. Rube & Rutje are completely different from each other and yet they get along like a house on fire. They are open-minded towards everybody, even if you’re a little bit special.

Rutje is very handy and likes handicrafts, carpentry, painting. ‘Pink’ is her favourite colour. She really loves pink strawberry milkshake and dolphins. She is a sporty adventurous rascal and likes playing hide and seek, going on a treasure hunt and she jumps a lot on the trampoline. She also plays the recorder very well.

Rube is a really good cook and likes spaghetti, apples and orange lemonade. He bakes his own cakes: nut cake or chocolate cake. He even enjoys doing the washing up. Rube is a bit shy. That’s why he likes playing hide and seek, shooting marbles and solving riddles. Rube is a strong boy. He loves cycling, swimming in the sea and elephants. And he also likes singing.
